Covid-19 and the Vaccine
During a time of worship, the Lord brought me into a face-to-face visit with Him. The situation with the virus was heavy upon my heart. I asked Him, “What can we do about the CoronaVirus?”

He said, “If my people will seek My face and take shelter in Me, this virus will not affect them. Does it not say so in Psalm 91?”

Let's look at the instructions Jesus gave us.
-
Jesus said, "My people." This means Christians who become children of God through Him.
-
We have a new covenant with our Lord and it is through Him that we receive from God.
-
-
"Seek my face" is a popular phrase in the Bible.
-
In the time it was written, a person could be identified by their face, it means to seek to know who they are, to be in their presence.
-
You must be willing to seek Jesus and find out more about who He is.
-
The Lord also mentioned a chapter in the Bible: Psalm 91. It was easy to figure out what He was referring to:
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. (Psalms 91:2-3 AKJV)
A refuge is a place we run to when we are in trouble. A fortress is a place of strength. How do we take shelter? We run to the Lord and seek Him in prayer. When we do, we will be delivered from the “the snare of the fowler,” meaning the plans of the enemy and from “deadly pestilence.” The definition of pestilence is a widespread, often deadly disease such as the CoronaVirus.

We don’t want to take this verse out of context. To strengthen your faith that God will protect you, let’s look at what God did for His people in the wilderness.
He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1 AKJV)
God is the most powerful being who has ever existed. He created both Heaven and Earth. If you are in His shadow, you are close enough to Him that nothing will harm you. In order to be close to God, you must know about Him.

If you don’t yet know about the “Secret Place” I hope you will begin learning about it. That is where Jesus meets with us face-to-face and where I heard from Him about this plague. We are creating a new course at the free online Courts of Heaven Academy at Agape Christian Fellowship to teach the Body of Christ about it.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. (Psalms 91:2-3 AKJV)
We have already discussed what these two verses mean however, just like being saved from eternal suffering, you must “say” something in order to receive from God. However you put it into words, the Lord will know what is in your heart. I like to quote what the Bible says to honor Him. Whatever way you choose to do it, by appropriating the protection of the Lord each day, you are protected from both of these.
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings shall you trust: His truth shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalms 91:4 AKJV)
Have you ever seen a mother hen with her chicks? When there is danger, those chicks run to her and she puts her wings over them. Whatever is coming must go through her to get to those chicks. That is what God is saying. If you will run to Him each day and get so close that you are in His shadow (Psalm 91:1) then He will protect you so that nothing can harm you, not even this disease.

A shield and a buckler protected you in the front and back. You need to learn “His truth” to be protected from what is in front of you (your future) and what is behind you (sins of the past). The Bible is where you can find this truth.
You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. (Psalms 91:5-6 AMJV)
When you begin learning about God’s truth, you will no longer be afraid. No matter what is going on in the world, you will know that you will be safe. On September 11, 2001, one of the largest terrorist attacks in our history occurred on American soil.

The Twin Towers fell and as tragic as that loss was, it could have been much worse. Hundreds of people were headed to their workplace late because an “idea” came to them of something that they should do that morning: menial tasks such as driving a child to school or bringing a spouse a special breakfast. For reasons they could not explain, they just felt like something was more important than arriving at work on time.
There is a mature Christian in Boise, Idaho who was scheduled to fly to New York for a meeting in the Towers that day. While boarding the plane he heard God say, “Don’t go.” God didn’t say why or what would happen, but he obeyed that strong voice that comes from the Holy Spirit and it saved his life.
God is able to keep us safe.
A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked. (Psalm 91:7-8)
It doesn’t matter if you are hearing from God through the Holy Spirit or if you are a newborn Christian who gets “nudges” about what to do. God is able to keep you safe! In the Courts of Heaven Academy at Agape Christian Fellowship, we have courses to help you hear more from God. We hope you will come and learn how to hear more from our Heavenly Father!
The Vaccine
When we have faith in what Jesus said and in the Word of God (Psalm 91) we do not need a vaccine for our Lord is protecting us. If we need not fear Covid, then we shouldn't fear the vaccine either. Anytime fear is a motivating factor, that is from the enemy. We can stand in faith if we must receive a vaccine when it is mandated for our job, to buy food, or is a law for every citizen. Just as we can stand against Covid without fear, we can take a vaccine without fear.

Required by Law
As an American, I am used to having certain rights. These changes do evoke me to passionate responses on occasion as freedoms are lost, but we must remember what the Word of God says:
He controls the course of world events. God removes kings and sets up other kings. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the scholars. (Daniel 2:21 ESV)
Let every person be loyally subject to the governing (civil) authorities. For there is no authority except from God [by His permission, His sanction], and those that exist do so by God’s appointment. Therefore he who resists and sets himself up against the authorities resists what God has appointed and arranged [in divine order]. And those who resist will bring down judgment upon themselves [receiving the penalty due them]. (Romans 1-2 AMPC)
This was spoken when Rome was crucifying Christians and feeding them to lions. No matter if it is a good government or a bad one, we must obey the laws of our countries even if they go against our constitutional rights. God is in control of the situation and submitting to the authorities is submitting to Him. We can and should pray that God guides our leaders, we can peacefully voice our disagreement, but we must obey the law. Because this is the time for God’s prophecies about the second coming of the Lord to be fulfilled, in the coming days, your government may begin to require you to take the vaccine for one reason or another:

-
To keep your job
-
To travel and enter public areas
-
For every person
The only time we can disobey the government is when it is requiring something that is against God’s law, such as taking the Mark of the Beast. The procedures being put into place are to set up the tracking system with the Mark of the Beast. You do not have to refuse a vaccine if you can stand in faith, knowing why you are able to take it.
Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” If one of the unbelievers invites you to dinner and you are disposed to go, eat whatever is set before you without raising any question on the ground of conscience. But if someone says to you, “This has been offered in sacrifice,” then do not eat it, for the sake of the one who informed you, and for the sake of conscience...So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God (1 Corinthians 10:25-31 ESV)
Sacrificing food to idols is a sin, just as murder is a sin. At the time Paul gave the instructions, it was hard to find food in the market which was not sacrificed to idols, so he instructed them not to ask about it, just buy what they needed and give glory to God. If we are forced to take it so that we can work, that is a necessity. We can pray in faith, giving God the glory for His protection.

"...it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.” (Matthew 15:11 ESV)

It isn't what goes into our body that defiles us, it is what is coming out. As long as you can step forward if faith and love, with the peace from the Holy Spirit, you will be okay.

But whoever has doubts is condemned if he eats, because the eating is not from faith. For whatever does not proceed from faith is sin. (Romans 14:23 ESV)
If you cannot take a vaccine without fear, it may be wrong just as it is wrong to eat food sacrificed to idols. If we take the vaccine without hearing from God, then we may be outside His protection. Ask yourself: Are you speaking words of fear? Are you reacting harshly to those who have symptoms? This may open the door through fear for you to be affected. You will need to pray and see what God wants for you.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. (Colossians 3:15 ESV)
If you take the vaccine because your job demands it, under the approval of the Holy Spirit, you can pray over it as you are receiving the injection so that there will be no harmful effects as stated in His word:
And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them.... (Mark 16:17-18 AMPC)
If you are willing to serve the Lord, then this scripture can be applied to you. The vaccine has unknown side effects, but our Lord has provided protection for us against any harmful even poisonous substance. Here is how I would pray when taking a vaccine for work:
“Lord, I am taking this vaccine because I must in order to work as Your Word tells us to do. In order to serve You, I must drink what may be poisonous by taking this vaccine. But I know You are my healer. I receive this vaccine now only to remain obedient to your word and work to provide for me and my family. I ask that you cover any sin that may be connected to this vaccine with your blood.
I thank you, God, that as Your Word states, “No poison shall affect me.” This vaccine shall not harm my body in any way, thanks to Your promise because I love and serve my Lord, Jesus. Amen”

FILING FOR EXEMPTION

If you which to abstain from taking the vaccine, your job may allow you to file for a religious exemption. Here is an example of how to put what you have learned into a brief explanation:
I am requesting an exemption from the COVID-19 vaccination because I firmly believe it goes against my religious beliefs. Jesus said, “If my people will seek My face and take shelter in Me, this virus will not affect them. Does it not say so in Psalm 91?”
I should be allowed to lean upon Jesus for their protection from Covid-19 and not take a vaccine and I will sign a document taking full responsibility for not taking the vaccine. Furthermore, the Bible says:
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
According to Webster’s dictionary, one of the meanings of the word “Honor” is “fulfill an obligation or keep an agreement.” When I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior, I agreed to honor Him thus giving Him full rights to my life and to follow Him with all my heart. Injecting the Covid-19 vaccine that changes the way the temple of my body operates is not honoring the temple or my God.

Thank you for allowing me to express my religious beliefs.
Statement of Beliefs

After reading that article, if your job demands a letter from your church, we would be happy to send a letter stating the beliefs outlined above since we are all part of the body of Christ which is referred to in the Bible as His church.
